Apparatus was developed with the intention to create a modular kit of parts for activism on social media. The idea of time and looping was considered to create a set of graphics that could speak to one and other.
Apparatus is part publication, part kit of parts for social media messaging and a set that can be customized by the individual using keynote. With instructions on how to operate as well as export, collaboration can create something unique with a unified visual language.
I built bigger tiles to quickly create a motion language and test contrasting imagery. The tiles were then expanded to create unite cropping and collaging.
